MISSION

Job Summary Responsible for the management of services and process that support the core business of an organization to ensure that the customer’s requirements are met on a timely basis with a manufactured product. Work is performed in a fast paced environment within tight time constraints. Unusual hours and travel may be required. The Maintenance Manager is involved in both strategic planning and day to day operations, particularly in relation to buildings and premises. This is a salaried, exempt position.

Primary Responsibilities
|
||
Essential Functions • Preparing documents to put out tenders for contractors • Project management and supervising and coordination work of contractors • Investigating availability and suitability of options for new premises • Calculation and comparing costs for required good or services to achieve maximum value for money • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local ordinances, regulations and codes, and insurance requirements • Planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives • Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities • Directing and planning essential central services such as maintenance, archiving , waste disposal and recycling • Ensuring the building meets health and safety requirements • Planning best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new building, or re-organizing current premises • Maintain the 5-S system
• Must adhere to all principles of the quality, safety, and environmental systems • Implement work completed by staff or contractors and follow up on deficiencies
