Main Activities

•Works according to HSE requirements (LOTO, cleaning…) and promote safety mindset on day to day basis

•Implement injection standards and exchanges within injection networks best practices

•Ensure controls and optimizes process parameters are followed and optimized.

•Drive the improvement in the injection area performance (right first time, scraps reduction, cycle time reduction, tool change times)

•Analyze process failures

•Support new projects launches

•Participate in continuous improvement activities and productivity covering all process areas- cycle times, scrap, downtime, machine / tools and energy

•Develop the injection processes and systems ensuring a framework that will achieve world class standards of quality and service to the customer and to achieve environmental compliance.

•Own the injection process FMEA and make sure that standardized work practices are being used.

•Continually develops/drives the injection technical team to deliver best in class processes and standards.

•Own the technical integrity of injection process database and supports introduction plans into plant injection area

•Ensures quality standards are maintained by the injection tech team.

•Design and justify new improvements and equipment to reduce downtime and increase productivity.

•Will supervise Process Technicians and Mold Setters in a 3 shift production environment.

•Will supervise Material Handlers and maintain process for Resin systems including Regrind.

•Perform preventative maintenance on EOAT / process related equipment.

 

Competences requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred (Injection or Plastics technology)

•Good capabilities in problem solving

•4 - 7 years of experience in Manufacturing (injection molding) and in large production equipment management

•Process orientated

•Robot programming experience a plus
