Mission

Aligned with Asia end-to-end Supply Chain strategy, to build, communicate, and execute together with plant main functions the Planning & Inventory road map for all stock categories (RM, C, WIP, FG)

 

Responsibilities

  • Execute the regional Inventory strategy that meets POAI stock targets and plant objectives.
  • Hands-on drafting and tracking of planning (demand, production, supply according to plant specific needs)
  • High level SCM point of contact for New Product Introduction / SOP
  • Get expert on inventory management tools (PFEP, BMM Manufacturing tool, FG Kanban) and exploit fully those tools to improve performance in stock & inventory management and in logistics
  • Set optimized logistics parameters (safety and buffer stock targets for all categories in line with Corporate standards but adjusted to plants realities; MOQ, lead time)
  • Weekly Follow-up progress on inventory strategy & use of tools. Escalate bottlenecks and propose solutions. Perform all ad hoc inventory analysis and execute actions aiming at lowering cash immobilized
  • Initiate and lead all planning related reviews with plant teams. Improve all planning processes as required
  • Owns the stock level KPI’s of the SCM scorecard as well as the plant inventory budgeting process
  • Co-owns logistics & WH costs KPI and contribute to cost optimization through better planning
  • Provide technical leadership for the site on all planning topics (customer service, demand/capacity management, stock, MRP, Production plan).
  • Act as main escalation level for suppliers when there are shortage or excess stock risks. Contribute to implementation of logistics protocol (data, training suppliers, SNCR when they fail to perform as per std)
  • Evaluate and build up a team of confirmed planners
  • Ensure high level smooth collaboration with all stakeholders (pur, production, Fin, HR, suppliers & OEM)
  • Owns logistics SNCR targets related to stock (late/early delivery, del freq, customer service…)

Asia role :

  • Effectively participates to the regional Supply Chain projects and activities. Share experience and expertise acquired with other plants of the region.

 

Profile required

<Personal Background>

  • Degree in Supply Chain and/or Engineering
  • >15 years’ experience working within the planning function in manufacturing industry at factory level
  • Involved in complex planning activities in consumer goods and/or automotive industries
  • Proven track record of leading successful change initiatives and planning team management
  • Sound knowledge of ERP for planning (ideally SAP)

 

<Job Technical skills>

  • Hands-on in planning area. Good understanding of planning tools (Heijunka, Lean....)
  • Fluent in English & Korean
  • SAP (PP, MM, SD module) knowledge preferred
  • Able to integrate large amounts of data from multiple sources resulting in a realist and optimized planning
