As legal Operations Manager, you will play a leading role in the development, implementation and operation of contract management programs and policies that are responsive to Plastic Omnium’s legal and business needs for Asia region (China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, India and Malaysia).
Reporting to the Group Legal Operations Vice-President, you will develop a deep understanding of the company’s business, strategies, processes and technologies and ensure that legal transactions are handled efficiently and effectively.
You design, develop and implement best in class contract systems, policies and processes to ensure maximum efficiency and alignment company-wide, and monitor internal policies and develop legal awareness within the Plastic Omnium Divisions in reviewing and drafting standard documents and internal policies.
You build strong relationships with the businesses managers to become a real business partner and help them to develop sales & purchases successes with compliance and ethic.
You select and manage local legal counsels around the region to delegate or answer legal requirements.
You conduct necessary analytics to always optimize efficiency and reduce legal costs with ensuring quality services.
You have a relevant experience (8/10 years) as legal manager within an international industrial company, ideally in Asia.
Organized, proactive and result-oriented, you have a strong track-record of performance and legal analysis.
You have the ability to communicate clearly on complex issues (speaking/writing) and have good negotiation skills.
You are assertive and able to play an active role as a partner to the business and as a negotiator.
Strong work ethic, you are comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams, in a matrix organization and in multi-cultural environment. You are able to interact efficiently with group department based in Paris.
Lastly, graduated from Master’s Degree in Law (commercial, contract, international) ideally completed by a LL.M or a business school diploma, you are fluent in English and French (and ideally in Chinese).
This first experience in Shanghai could be a great stepping-stone to other opportunities in France or in other region of the world.
