This position will be responsible for developing and implementing the Talent Management strategy across the US (in the south and Detroit area). Reports to HR Director, US.
•Manage talent acquisition processes including, but not limited to: recruitment, process improvements, relocation, university relations strategy, employer branding, and compliance
•Evaluate and enhance on-boarding and orientation process
•Implement and execute strategy for salaried training and development
•Lead succession planning, performance management and annual assessment process
•Develop employee engagement strategy including: retention activities, employee engagement survey, survey action items, retention planning, recognition programs, etc.
•Manage leadership development rotational program
•Develop and track key metrics / KPI’s
•Manage the HRIS function
•Responsible for managing 3 direct reports
•Responsible for implementing Diversity and Inclusion initiatives for the U.S.
•Will serve as HR Manager for Duncan, SC facility.
Qualifications / Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
•HR experience in the manufacturing and/or automotive industry
•3+ years in an HR manager position
•Experience leading major HR processes, including recruitment, talent management, and employee development
•Proven track record driving and implementing change initiatives and process improvements
•Project management experience
•Ability to travel up to 20% (in the south and Detroit area)
