MISSION:<

Overall responsibility for communicating issues and answering customer issues.  Analyze customer orders and comparing vs production planning.  Monitor and validate customer information is correct in SAP, and processing through the supply chain and plant processes, problem solving, and implementing continuous improvements where possible.<

MAIN ACTIVITIES:<

•Work according to HSE requirements.<

•Organize, plan and manage production schedules according to demand, quality standards, capacity and capacity restraints to insure that the production schedule is substantial to fill demand. Identifies and helps to resolve bottlenecks, part shortages, shipping, EDI and material availability issues.<

•Provide commitment dates to customer service based on capacity within our master schedule using our ERP system. Analyze customer demand and expedites against schedule.<

•Work with manufacturing supervisors to obtain feedback about production status. Analyze and measure the current production status and identify problem areas that inhibit full schedule execution. Provide feedback to area leaders schedule achieved versus planned.<

Communicate production plans to all levels of the organization.<

•Create, modify, realistic manufacturing strategies for new product introductions and existing products to support production schedule.<

•Review forecasts and safety stock.<

•Contact customer regarding issues in production, manufacturing and lead time.<

•Work with the production and engineering staff to make improvements to quality, safety, cost and productivity.<

•Update and maintain daily reports.<

•Keep track of production numbers and unexpected customer demands or production issues.<

•Must act in a professional manner at all times, and exude a professional appearance.<

•Other duties as required.<

COMPETENCIES:< <

•College degree or comparable work experience<

Ability to work independently<

Strong, clear and effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in a team setting

Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite (strong MS Excel skills)

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to prioritize and multitask while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor will be required in this challenging fast-paced environment<

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is required<

Knowledge in production scheduling and planning is required<

Minimum 2-year experience SAP EDI understanding <

Strong SAP knowledge (including but not limited to scheduling agreements, production reporting and standard delivery transaction)<

Must have demonstrated proficiency with data analysis, use of industry standard querying tools and planning capabilities<
