DYWIZJA Intelligent Exterior Systems

Missions :



  • Leads and support the MRO buyers in the plants across Europe providing management and operational support;
  • Through an intrinsic understanding of the environment in which the business operates, develops the ability to advice within the organization – sharing knowledge, insight and expertise with the rest of the business to improve performance, processes, and operations;
  • Cooperation with the different departments to understand what is fueling the demand, have visibility of what is coming (CAPEX, industrial changes) and adapt permanently;
  • Helps internal customer to well express their needs, support the new projects and solutions;
  • Helps the customers to define the standards and the forecasted consumptions;
  • Succeeds in achieving good deals with suppliers, providing a trustable supply base to the operations and controlling the quality, logistics, compliance and costs delivered;
  • Controls the people behavior and adherence to the business rules (internal customers as well as the MRO team). Explain the rules to the internal customers; enhance the procedures to the buyers;
  • Coordinates the MRO purchasing activities in the various plants, understands the various leverages at disposal to improve the performance, drive the synergies. Build up the best conditions for success;
  • Organizes the lead buying and validate the strategies;
  • Within the frame objectives defined by the Purchasing Corporate, sets up the objectives in terms of achievement with the plant directors (productivity, continuous improvement, quality, on time delivery);
  • Drives the Operations cost reduction program and develop the supplier’s performance;
  • Leads the vendor rating process and discuss the action plan to be managed in case of supplier’s non performance and implement the actions;
  • Reports at Operations/BU level on performance and achievements through monthly KPIs and weekly updates;
  • Negotiates the major contracts and set up the contracts with the supports of legal. Present the contracts for validation to the upper management;
  • Manage the crisis with the suppliers;
  • Evaluates the buyers’ skills and participate to the performance evaluation;
  • Takes care about the buyers training plans;
  • Participates to the buyers recruitment process.






Knowledge / Qualification


  • Engineering Degree  or background with specialty in purchasing



Previous Experience


  • Minimun 10 years in an industrial & international environment dealing with technical and production issues, project management and purchasing issues.
  • First successful experience of management
  • Ideally Plastic injection and painting Knowledge
  • Exposed in previous assignments to a demanding & competitive environment (preference Automotive)

  • Knowledge of the markets (local, regional, global) & purchasing marketing
  • Purchasing process knowledge :
    • Supply base management (supplier selection, supplier ranking, supplier development, commodity strategy)
    • Management of complex RFQ processes & sourcing. Ability to support specification preparation
    • Order to pay process and contractualization
  • Technical & price negotiations
  • Companies & commercial laws
  • Project management
  • Finance & cash management
  • Risk management
  • Logistics (consignment, VMI incoterms)
  • Management (hierarchical and functional)
  • English Fluent
  • Other language used in the perimeter of activity  is a plus
