Job description

The Plant Engineer will be in charge of:


  • Defining plant specific equipment (from specification to realization) and Standard Operation Procedures for production operators in accordance with best practices and POMS
  • Providing administrative support within SAP, product files, reports, quality tests, etc.
  • Management of serial modifications requested by customer (OPTIMAP), industrial modifications / installations (OPTIPRO), and engineering change and implementation (OPTICHANGE)


S/He will participate as well in:

  • Technical feasibility studies, PFMEA’s, verification of equipment versus standards and their reception
  • Safety assessments and incident and accident analysis


S/He will also organize and support trials of:

  • Pre-production and production
  • Training production teams
  • Following up engineering status and stock positions of finished products, semi-finished, components and special packaging
  • Co-ordinating laboratory tasks for the project; project control plans, tests, R&R studies, etc.
  • Pilots’ customer spare parts validation.


During production lifetime, the Plant Engineer is responsible of the production transfer between plants, updating the PRU (factory cost price), and, on a permanent basis, looking for cost reduction opportunities during launch and serial production.


During the project phase, the Plant Engineer will participate in small CAPEX validation and installation, will organize/write all workstation instructions, and manage and update technical drawings and technical data sheets. S/He is also responsible for masking/polishing/quality and benches defining and installing for internal flows.



You are a highly motivated young graduate from a recognized engineering school or university.

You are a team player, a self-learner and have demonstrated some leadership. You have an interest for the automotive industry and good knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes.

You are open minded and with a serious desire to learn, as well as a clear willingness to embark on an international career. You are organized and capable of working under pressure.

You are an effective communicator, possess good levels of cooperation with all stakeholders, and are committed to quality and continuous improvement.

Your English is fluent and speaking another language is a plus.
