Job description

The Plant Engineer is responsible for supporting the manufacturing teams to improve and optimize production processes (injection, paint, or assembly). Based in our plant in Reinsdorf, the main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the coordination of new projects for the plant (new products or new process), ensuring adherence to customer requirements and optimizing resources of the plant 
  • Managing capacity and anticipating need for equipment modification and capacity adjustments
  • Ensuring equipment meets technical and performance specifications
  • Participating in new manufacturing performances (productivity, quality, safety, availability)
  • Managing investments of projects


You will support the plant on these current projects:

  • COBOT implementation
  • Automatization of the transpost/buffer line of injected and painted parts
  • Performing of value streams analysis, optimization by value stream mapping



You are a highly motivated young graduate from a recognized engineering school or university.

As part of your studies, you have already undertaken an international curriculum (e.g., one semester or year outside your home country).

You have an interest for the automotive industry and a basic knowledge of lean manufacturing processes such as KANBAN, 5S and SMED. Knowledge in Excel is a plus.

You are open-minded and a team player with a serious desire to learn, as well as a clear willingness to embark on an international career.

You are fluent in English. German is not required but would be a plus
