Quality Engineering Manager is responsible to oversee Quality Engineering functions for the Japan Technical Center. This position is responsible to develop and implement systems and procedures to assure Quality Products are launched through the Development process to Production facilities.
TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES
Management of Quality Program Engineers
Responsible to supervise and develop direct reports. Manages the objective setting process
Promotes and exemplifies PO Auto lnergy Global Leadership Model to all associates in support of PO Auto Inergy Global Mission, Values and Objectives.
Establish and maintain an effective system of communication and information flow cross-functionally and throughout the company.
Actively support the program teams to assure consistent quality metrics are achieved
Be process leader for 9530, contribute continuous improvement of 9530 at local level with process participants
Set up and tracking department objective and budget through
Effectiveness of Customer PPAP
Effectiveness of Quality Dashboard
%of Budget for Quality Engineers ( Efficiency )
Input single report by quality development cost and headcount forecast
Interaction influence through
Keep communication with customer and support to QE to smooth customer APQP/PPAP progress
Facilitate project hand over to plant with proper methodology implementation
Support quality engineer coordinate with other functions
Coach Quality Engineer in terms of PO Auto Inergy quality tools/procedure implementation
Set up development plan for quality engineers
Development resource of quality engineers of WUHAN TC
Coach Quality Engineer in terms of PO Auto Inergy quality tools/procedure implementation
Set up development plan for quality engineers and tacking the effectiveness
Set up individual objective and make semi/annual performance appraisal.
Keep quality engineers motivated.
As backup for Quality Department
Management representative and Customer representative
Ensuring that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained
Reporting to top management on the performance of the quality management system and any need for improvement, and
Ensuring the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization
To ensure that customer requirements are addressed. This includes selection of special characteristics, setting quality objectives and related training, corrective and preventive actions, product design and development
To ensure the communication between Wuhan TC and all related plants supporting by Wuhan TC

PROFILE REQUIRED
Personal Background
Bachelor’s degree required ( Engineering , Science , Technical or Business ) or equivalent in work experience
Five years SQA/Quality Engineering; Management and Technical Experience strongly preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Experience in PO Auto Inergy Systems and Procedures, Quality Standards and practices
Strong problem Solving , decision making and prioritization skills required
Must be able to manage time and determine priorities
