MISSION

 

 

The Financial Controller Hansalpur drives the short, mid and long term financial planning process and supports the business toward the achievement of the objectives set. He/she safeguards the Company’s assets by ensuring that the operations comply with local and Group financial and non-financial regulations.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

 

Compliance

l       Enforce the compliance of the Hansalpur subsidiary with both IFRS and local GAAP

l       Implement Group functioning rules and procedures, financial and non-financial, and control their enforcement

l       Supervise the relationship with internal and external auditors and monitor the implementation of their recommendations

l       Liaise with the Region and/or Group functions for any legal and tax matters

 

Team Management

l       In charge of the financial organization in Hansalpur: allocate resources as needed, develop competencies of the team  and retain talents

l       Set yearly objectives, evaluate the performance and define development plans for the finance associates and the company secretary

 

Controlling, Planning, Reporting

l       Oversees the processes of budgeting and long-term financial planning

l       Monitor the monthly closing and forecast, the Regional and Corporate financial reporting, ensure the consistency of the data reported and that deadlines are met

l       Conduct operating reviews, provide relevant analysis and recommendations to meet the business objectives set

l       Ensure the proper utilization of SAP and actively participate to the enhancement of the processes in liaison with the regional IS&S team. In charge of product costing in SAP

l       Validate the engagements / purchase requisitions of the entity for both expenses and CAPEX

l       Identify financial and non-financial risks

 

 

Treasury and Tax

l       Identify the financing and hedging needs and address them in liaison with the Financial Controller SE Asia and with the Group Treasury Department.

l       Ensure the tax compliance of the entity and support the Group Tax Department with its reporting needs and projects

l       Prepare and reply the notice to different tax departments and Represent the company before the different tax authorities

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

 

Personal Background

l       Bachelor’s degree /Master’s Degree in business, accounting or finance (CA)

l       6 years relevant experience including  2-3 years in a management role

l       Experience in the MNC manufacturing industry (automotive preferred)

 

Job Technical skills

l       Experience of leading end to end Finance Process in small or mid- sized company will be ideal.

l       Strong Financial and Local Taxation knowledge

l       Excellent analytical skills, ability to synthetize large amount of information

l       Highly proficient with Excel, familiar with SAP and with consolidation software (Hyperion preferred)

l       Prior work experience in India required

l       Good presentation and communication skills

l       Fluent in English.
