Ensure customer expectations are met in terms of on time delivery, and product quality. Develop a team in production that will provide a consistently high quality product in an efficient manner.
•Responsible for safety, quality, cost and delivery of assigned shift.
•Consistently apply company policies and procedures.
•Develop all associates into cross-trained, high performing team members.
•Supervise production associates (i.e. provide direction, assign daily tasks, etc.) and ensure they are following current Work Instructions.
•Monitor part quality and provide feedback to Department manager about any quality or productions concerns.
•Assist associates with issues that prevent them from performing their job properly.
•Report any safety or performance issues to Department manager.
•Upon successful completion of applicable Hazardous Materials training, may be required to handle and/or transport hazardous materials and chemicals.
•Develop, implement, and evaluate Continuous Improvement plans
•Must have High School diploma or GED
•Good written and verbal communication
•Previous management experience (at least 3 years)
•Previous Automotive experience a plus
•Ability to manage priorities and demonstrate a high level reactivity in critical situations
•Adequate leadership training
•Must be able to work 3rd shift
