MISSION

 

 

Ensure customer expectations are met in terms of on time delivery, and product quality. Develop a team in production, which will provide a consistently high quality product in an efficient manner.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

MANAGING PRODUCTION EMPLOYEES

  • Employee training – Review, adhere, and monitor training systems & procedures (safety; work instruction, quality alerts, standard work, etc.)
  • Control Training Plan completion
  • Develop all associates into cross-trained, high performing team members
  • Responsible to lead team and promote teamwork to achieve objectives.
  • Vacation scheduling (manning)
  • Corrective action as needed for area of responsibility
  • Attendance communication
  • Write and deliver performance appraisals for direct reports
  • Determine work assignments
  • Develop a strong working relationship with employees
  • Reconcile and approve employee timecards weekly

 

MANAGING PROCESS

  • SAFETY
    • HSE Requirements Satisfied (OSHA; OHSAS; ISO)
    • Complete all documentation / deployment for Incidents
    • Driving Safety Culture within team
    •  
  • QUALITY
    • TS16949; IQSR – requirements satisfied
    • Closely monitor quality levels and root cause; correcting any non-conformances.
  • PRODUCTIVITY
    • Continually work to understand the customer’s requirements in terms of quality and delivery
    • Report production, scrap
    • Line Side Inventory requirements
    • Creating and driving actions to cross functional team members
    • Develop, Implement, and evaluate continuous improvement plans
  • COMMUNICATION
    • Communicates openly with colleagues and hierarchy
    • Informs immediately his/her managers in case of any process deviations, problems, incidents…
    • Conducts shift meetings (daily, weekly and monthly if any)
    • Consistently apply policies and procedures

Provide feedback to Plant Director about any quality or production concerns

 

Other Requirements:

  • Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises
  • Work requires walking, talking, seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching,pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
  • Must be able to reach above shoulder
  • Environment requires working under high and low temperatures at certain times

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

 

Personal Background

  • 2-3 years former experience in manufacturing
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Supervisory experience
