Job Summary   <

Responsible for leading the direction, coordination and control of the financial functions for the facility and continuous improvement to ensure that the customer’s requirements are met on a timely basis with a manufactured product. Work is performed in a fast paced, results oriented environment with tight time constraints. Unusual hours and travel may be required. This is a salaried, exempt position.<

Essential Functions < <

  • Execute effective leadership in identifying opportunities, implementing action, and providing timely and meaningful information to assist in the decision making process<
  • Lead the annual long range planning-budgeting processes for the plant, both P&L, balance sheet and cash<
  • Compile and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports to forecast income and expenses. Highlight actual expenses and reconcile with available budget<
  • Responsible for the execution of both internal and external audits at plant level-BS, P&L, and internal controls< <

    Supervise AR, AP, fixed assets, standard costing, and monthly closing processes< < < < < & < < < <


    Additional Responsibilities< <

  • Assist in the capital budgeting process, including analytical prioritization and justification process<
  • Safeguard assets of the company through appropriate internal controls and analytic techniques<
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities to improve controls and reduce operating costs< <

    Provide support to other positions as needed including the cost analyst and AR/AP Clerk<


    Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:< <

  • Strong general ledger skills and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Power Point<
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills <
  • Knowledge of financial functions and analytical techniques along with the ability to collect, maintain and analyze data<
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, result oriented environment within tight time constraints, along with the ability to organize and prioritize work<
  • Must comply with all work rules, policies and procedures<
  • Must comply with all safety rules and regulations<
  • Demonstrated record of experience in processing periodic accounting closings< <


    Education and Experience:< <

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance<
  • 10 to 15 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, automotive preferred<
  • 5 to 7 years of management experience that includes planning, supervision and review< <
