Q: Is it true that a sporting event is responsible for your joining Plastic Omnium?
A: In a way, yes. I graduated from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and went on to Ecole des Mines Paris for a master’s degree in Energy Strategies. In 2012, I participated in the “Raid Centrale” race and on the return journey I had a discussion with a Σ-Sigmatech manager about the company. Everything he told me convinced me that I wanted to work there. I joined the PO Auto Exterior talent incubator program and specialized in painting, first as a process engineer, then as an equipment engineer.
Q: What do you like best about the company?
A: There are many things, but I especially like the way projects are managed and the
excellent relations among the employees. And it had not occurred to me just how much
I would travel! After several trips to Spanish sites, I now regularly travel to the Puebla plant in Mexico.
Q: What are your future goals?
A: In the medium term, I would like to advance in my department and eventually take responsibility for the overall management of a project. When I talk with friends who work for other companies, I realize that Plastic Omnium has extraordinary flexibility and a real industrial and strategic vision.
