Quality Director BU Western Europe

MAIN ACTIVITIES

• Is responsible within the Business Unit for a dynamic management of all operational quality activities in plants and in development programs in order to secure non event launches of new products and stable adherence to serial or supply.
• Deploys the division Quality Policy for Customer, Supplier, Engineering; Launch, Production and internal management systems.
• Fosters, coordinates, executes, monitors ambitious CNQ reduction plans
• Sets improvements for the BU continuous improvement plan
• Voice of Customer in the Business unit
• Alerts and manages Quality risks
• Measures and report Quality indicators
• Benchmark business unit Performance
• Develops and promotes Quality Tools
• Ensures Quality internal audits and external certification audits are managed effectively
• Manages and Develop Quality organisation and people within the BU.

PROFILE

• University Engineering degree BSc or MSc.
• Sound knowledge of Quality Automotive global requirements. Qualification in the quality field welcome (black belt six sigma, ….)
• 10 to 20 years’ experience with tier 1 suppliers, including Operations, Quality and/ or program management background
• Demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills in previous roles managing large teams directly and remotely in a multi country organization.
• Ability to communicate at every level of the organization
• Crisis management skills & experience: can handle stress, is a settling influence during a crisis, reads situations quickly
• Integrity & intellectual agility to operate efficiently in a complex environment
• Interpersonal savvy
• Fluent English. Fluency in French, Spanish will be an asset.
