DIVISION Intelligent Exterior Systems


Develop, implement and maintain management activities in line with HSE policies, customer expectations and plant objectives, ensuring optimum performance.

Coach and develop team to deliver maximum efficiency in all areas.  Ensure the establishment, implementation and maintenance of quality and environmental management systems in accordance to Plastic Omnium corporate and divisional requirements as well as international standards and customer specific requirements.



Quality Systems

•Establish, implement and maintain the quality management system to the appropriate requirements

•Serve as primary liaison with external parties for matters related to the quality management system

•Serve as Management Representative for the quality management system

•Supervise the activities of the IMS Engineer

•Manage the Internal Audit process

•Incorporate and maintain Divisional quality system requirements into the US Operations system

•Determine and coordinate quality management system training requirements

•Manage the activities of the Supplier Quality Engineer

•Manage the activities of the Quality Lab Metrology and Calibration functions

•Other projects and duties as assigned by manager

•Control Plan Training


Environmental Systems 

•Work with the Safety and Environmental Manager to establish, implement, maintain the environmental management system to the appropriate International Standard

•Assist Safety and Environmental Manager with external parties for matters related to the environmental management system



•Participate to customer quality audit, warranty claims and improvement actions for quality convergence.

•Take the lead with assisting production with quality issues (Setting up of action plans, implementation of analytic tools e.g. DMAIC, helping them with quality incidents...).

•Take part in the implementation of the plant progress plan encouraging staff involvement, through the implementation of a specific follow-up activity

•Participate in the daily, weekly and monthly meetings, defining the plans for short and medium activity, including new product launch.

•Manage the team (organization, objectives, discipline and mindset, people development) according to department and projects requirements

•Is required to maintain a high level of maintenance and cleanliness in the quality area

•Propose the operating budget and then deliver the agreed budget.

•Provide appropriate support on new programs development in relation with program development team

•Support and acquire the knowledge to deploy best practices

•Put in place effective visual management



•Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years relevant work experience

•Dedication to safety

•Proven record of delivering results

•ANSI / RAB NAP lead auditor certification preferred.

•ASQ certification as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

•Thorough knowledge of quality and environmental management systems (QS-9000, ISO/TS16949, ISO 9000, ISO 14001)

•Good communicator with strong leadership skills

•Open to new concepts and innovation with application to problem solving and productivity improvement

•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managerial or leadership position

•Experience dealing with demanding customers with regard to quality and delivery (Tier 1automotive experience a plus

•Experience in a large manufacturing environment, with a background to problem solving, deployment of industrial standards and best practices

• “Lean” or “Six Sigma” application to products, processes and flows
