Coordinate the MRO purchasing activities.  Succeed in achieving good deals with suppliers, providing a trustable supply base to the operations and controlling the quality, logistics, compliance and costs delivered. 



•Respect and follow safety rules.

•Manage the activities in line with Corporate’s governance rules, purchasing policy and in the respect of the processes in place.

•Accountable for the supply base and evaluate it through a vendor rating process once a year.

•Responsible for the risk management with the support of the Finance department (financial health of suppliers, penetration rate, etc.).

•Lead the cost drivers’ analysis and identify opportunities for improvement.

•Drive the Operations cost reduction program and develop the supplier’s performance.

• Responsible for achieving Operations’ Savings budget.



•Bachelor degree in Engineering, Purchasing, or related field

•Good working knowledge of purchasing process:

  • Supply base management (supplier selection, supplier ranking, supplier development, commodity strategy)
  • Management of complex RFQ processes & sourcing
  • Ability to support specification preparation
  • Order to pay process and contractualization

•Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills

•Knowledge of Microsoft Office

•Able to coordinate more than one project at a time

•Experience with price negotiations

•Understanding finance & cash management; risk management; logistics (consignment, VMI incoterms); and commercial laws a plus
