Missions<

As country buyer, your mission will be to support plants by managing mandated suppliers, detecting supply chain risks and implementing countermeasures to prevent disruption of supply. Your main activities will be:< <

  • Responsibility for suppliers performance in terms of quality, cost and timing within country perimeter<
  • Manage supply stop, contract termination, insourcing and outsourcing<
  • Secure supplier payment process, invoice approval and correct payment of suppliers<
  • Identify cost savings opportunities, promote technical savings proposed by suppliers and implement these with suppliers and plants, benchmark activities<
  • Prepare Pre-RfQ & Sourcing in serial production phase, prepare and implement nomination letters<
  • Manage and negotiate requests for price increases <20k€ per year<
  • Lead the problem solving process (management of operative supply bottlenecks, managing suppliers' tool damages and repair, managing supplier insolvencies)<
  • Follow up and report the suppliers operative performance, define and implement improvement plans<
  • Ensure proper handover of purchasing responsibilities from program to serial phase for each project<
  • Implement engineering changes or supplier relocation in serial life< <

    Profile< <
  • University degree (technical or economical field)<
  • English – fluent, good knowledge of SAP,<
  • Experience in industrial purchasing and logistic/material flow management<
  • Basic negotiating skills, good communication with supplier<
  • Problem solving & project management skills, result orientation< <
