MISSION< < < < < <

  • The Regional Controlling Manager - Americas is directly responsible for the effective leadership, development and management of the required resources for the plants and technical center located in the Americas region.<
  • This position has 2 – 3 direct reports.RESPONSIBILITIES< < < < < <
  • Is the main entry point for the Group and the Division for the finance topics<
  • Is the main contact point for the Finance, Plants and Country Directors in the Region<
  • Coordinates and animates the business plan, budget and monthly forecasting processes :<
  • 4 countries, 10 plants, 1 technical center, $1.2 billion sales<
  • Is in charge of monthly consolidation and reporting for the Region< < < < < <

    ACTIVITIES< < < < < <

  • Makes sure financial procedures are respected<
  • Ensures that numbers and reports are consistent throughout the region<
  • Ensure consistent application of PO global accounting policies and procedures across the region.<
  • Implements the necessary procedures to improve the financial processes<
  • Identifies the best financial practices and share them among the organization<
  • Prepares all the financial presentations requested for the business plan, budget, and monthly reviews with division<
  • Explains the financial performance of the Region (bridges); to do so he/she works closely with Leadership Team members<
  • Organizes monthly financial reviews with Plants and Region management<
  • Identifies risks and alert senior management<
  • Provides guidance to meet free cash flow objectives for the Region<
  • Is in charge of the material margin squeeze with a dedicated team; to do so he/she works closely with the Sales VP and Purchasing Director<
  • Defines the Region controlling standards for InGoal<
  • Supports the implementation and improvement of SAP/InGoal for controlling in the Region<
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analysis as required by Americas or Division VP/CFO.< < < < < <

      PROFILE REQUIRED< < < < <

      Personal Background< <

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required.  MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.<
    • Must have held a senior-level financial position for 3+ years<
    • 7+ years experience in financial management,  3-5 years in automotive preferred<
    • 3+ years Plant Controller experience< <

      Skills and Abilities< <

    • Experience in a multinational corporation preferred<
    • Experience with use of SAP<
    • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)<
