Plant Paint Process Engineer

•Work according to SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) requirements and promote safety mindset on day to day basis.

•Ensure safety and security conditions are kept in order within the paint line, alert management in case of any non-conformity or deviance.

•Implement paint standards and exchanges within painting networks best practices.

•Control and optimize process parameters.

•Stabilize and optimizes painting area performance (paint consumption, scraps reduction).

•Test and validate technical solutions (i.e. changes in the plant, equipment supplier) .

•Analyze process failures.

•Support new projects launches.

•Participate in continuous improvement activities and productivity covering all process areas- cycle times, scrap, downtime, machine /tools and energy.

•Participate in paint assessment.

•Develop the paint processes and systems ensuring a framework that will achieve world class standards of quality and service to the Customer and to achieve environmental compliance.

•Own the paint process FMEA (failure modes and effects analysis) and make sure that standardized work practices are being used.

•Establish effective communication channels with the team and its people so as to realize their knowledge and full potential and to make sure that they are working to the same common business goals.

•Continually develop/drive the paint Tech team to deliver best in class processes and standards.

•Own the technical integrity of Paint database and supports introduction plans into plant painting area.

•Ensure quality standards are maintained by the paint tech team.

•Design and justify new improvements and equipment to reduce downtime and increase productivity.

•Work with other departments to support and solves joint problems - injection, assembly.

•Participate in paint technicians’ recruitment to assess technical abilities.

•May train and coach paint technicians and operators.

•May program robots or lead paint robots programmers.

•Actively represents the plant in paint networks.




•Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Injection or Plastics technology).

•Good capabilities in problem solving.

•Oral and working capability in English.

•4 - 7 years of experience in Manufacturing (production or engineering) and in large production equipment management.

•Processes orientated.

•Robot programming experience a plus.
