Q: Can you tell us a little about your background?
A: I graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Industries in Strasbourg (France), with a specialization in polymers and plastics engineering. I began my career in the medical industry, developing for 2 years surgical devices.
Q: As we all know, one of the great benefits of working at Plastic Omnium is the chance to work in different countries. You’ve really taken advantage of this.
A: Plastic Omnium offered me the opportunity to work in different countries and experienced different cultures. I first joined the Auto Exterior Division in 1998 as Project Quality Manager. Between 1999 and 2010, I took successively assignment in our 1st Munich technical antenna, joined Σ-Sigmatech near Lyon in France to develop the fender module for BMW, and then continue to develop the BMW account in the U.S. as Program Director. From 2010 to 2011,
I was responsible to launch the Tulipan plant in Poland. I returned to France in 2011 as Design and Development Director.
Q: Are you ready to settle down yet?
A: I am still open for new challenges abroad. I’ll be returning to the U.S. next year to supervise the building of
the new plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It’s a great opportunity full of challenges : very tight schedule and
ambitious goals & objectives at all levels. Despite the up-coming difficulties, the teamwork , the human relation and
the customer satisfaction will be our reward. The journey will be long , but certainly full of satisfaction at the end.
