Compagnie Plastic Omnium has several subsidiaries, including Plastic Omnium Gestion which is the data controller within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, known as the General Data Protection Regulation or « GDPR », for the collection and processing of personal data carried out on the Career Website. Each subsidiary is the data controller for the processing of personal data to manage its own job offers published on the Career Website, in accordance with the GDPR and with the legal provisions applicable in the relevant countries.

As a user (hereinafter “You”), you can consult job offers of Compagnie Plastic Omnium and/or any other company of Plastic Omnium group.

You will have to create a candidate account and to log in to the Career Website in order to:

  • Apply for job offers published on the Career Website, by communicating in particular your identification data and your curriculum vitae, or by means of your LinkedIn profile
  • Save job offers you have selected

The personal data related to your candidate account and to your job application(s) are collected and processed for the purposes of:

  • The management of your candidate account,
  • The management and monitoring of your job application(s), for instance, in order to : (i) assess whether you have the required skills, experience, qualifications and training for a role within the Plastic Omnium Company, (ii) inform you about the recruitment decisions.

These data processings are necessary to process your application, and are in the legitimate interests pursued by Compagnie Plastic Omnium, its subsidiaries, and recruitment agencies.

The personal data may be consulted, for the purposes mentioned hereinabove, by Compagnie Plastic Omnium, its subsidiaries and more specifically the subsidiaries that are in charge of each job offer accessible on the Career Website, and in some cases, by recruitment agencies in partnership with them. The personal data may also be processed by data processors which are in charge of the security of the Career Website, its hosting and maintenance.

Compagnie Plastic Omnium undertakes not to sell or lease your personal data to any third party, as defined in the GDPR.

Personal data remain on the territory of the European Union. By exception, personal data processed might be transferred to another country outside the European Union, provided that the country concerned benefits from an adequacy decision of the European Commission, or at the very least, that this transfer is governed by appropriate safeguards.

Your personal data will be kept for as long as it is necessary to process your application. We will retain the data up to a maximum period of 2 years from your last connection to your candidate account. This is to give us the ability of contacting you and matching your details to any future suitable vacancies that may arise.

Important: you have full access to amend, update or delete your data from your candidate account at any time.

Compagnie Plastic Omnium ensures that all technical and organisational measures to protect the user’s personal data are put in place. These security and confidentiality rules are equally applied to the personnel of Compagnie Plastic Omnium and its subsidiaries, as well as to all service providers and subcontractors working for any of the Compagnie Plastic Omnium entities.

According to the GDPR, you also have several legal rights relating to your personal data, which are outlined here:

  • The right to access to your personal data,
  • The right to correct incomplete or inaccurate personal data.
  • The right to delete or remove it,
  • The right to object and/or restrict the processing of personal data.
  • When applicable, the right to data portability in a structured format,
  • The right to withdraw your consent to such data processing.
